Grandfather Project
This grandfather was built approximately 300years ago In Belper and came to me in this condition.
The owner had knocked the clock over and broken all the dial feet
This required two of the dial feet tips remaking.Soldering was impossible as the dial had been hand painted 300 years ago. The feet had to be drilled, taped and studed to provide new ends to hold the dial.
The third foot was more of a probem as it was broken so close to the dial that it could not be drilled therefore I had to use a modern epoxy resin to hold it.
